Oxford-Metro Analytics confirms that public submissions for the 2027 Presidential Forecast Challenge are temporarily paused and scheduled to reopen next week Monday.
The temporary pause follows the detection of unusual automated submission activity during the platform’s soft-launch testing phase. The decision was made to protect the integrity of early public participation data while additional verification and anti-abuse controls are deployed.
Oxford-Metro is strengthening its submission system with additional protections, including duplicate-entry checks, rate limiting, CAPTCHA verification, device and session review, and real-time fraud monitoring.
This update ensures that future platform metrics are based on real public participation and verified submissions. Oxford-Metro will not use simulated, seeded, or auto-generated numbers in any public-facing results.
Public forecast submissions are expected to reopen next week Monday. Users may register for reopening alerts through the notification signup form.
Oxford-Metro Analytics is an independent Nigerian public sentiment and polling platform focused on political intelligence, civic participation, regional voter analysis, and public opinion tracking.
Oxford-Metro separates open public pulse voting from formal polling and clearly labels what each result represents. The platform tracks candidate trust, party primary pulse, regional sentiment, household pressure, public forecasts, and political momentum across Nigeria.
Oxford-Metro is not INEC, not a political party, and not a campaign organisation.
